Bio
A newcomer to Sage this season, Michael Sparrin is a graduate of Illion High School. Scholastically, he excelled in three sports, soccer, basketball, and baseball.
An all-league pick and team captain in soccer, he was the recipient of the Excellence in Soccer Award, while also serving as a basketball and baseball team captain. He also was selected as the recipient of the Citizenship Award at Ilion H.S. His baseball team captured the league championship as a senior and he was also honored for his excellence in the classroom, having been rewarded as a scholar-athlete. He was named to the High Honor Roll as well as the National Honor Society.
He is majoring in applied biology and physical therapy at Sage and is the son of Michael and Nancy Sparrin.
He has been very active in the community having worked as a volunteer at Camp Joni, a Christian based camp for families with children with disabilities.
